There are more than 800 costumes in the Merano Theatre, which date from the heyday of the theatre before World War I and from the first half of the 1920s.
These are mainly costumes for men, including uniforms, from a whole range of historical periods. Amongst them there is a Japanese kimono, a court jester’s outfit, a Capuchin monk’s habit and many other items.
