The Ohmann room: 99 m²

The Kurhaus was built according to the plans of the famous Vienna "Ringstrasse" architect, Friedrich Ohmann. The Ohmann Room, used mainly for conferences, small congresses and receptions, is named after him.

The Rotunda:

The Rotunda consists of three floors: the entrance hall from Freiheitsstrasse, with the cloakroom in the basement, which offers the possibility of organising a congress office; the level where you enter the Kurhaus from the Promenade; and, the mezzanine on the upper floor.

The architect, Friedrich Ohmann, was so fascinated by the new effects made possible by electric light that he wanted to offer visitors a "starlit sky" by means of an arrangement of numerous small lamps. These are accompanied by an array of columns in artificial marble, reflecting a different colour on each floor. The mirrors give the hall a spacious elegance
